Angènieux Filtros IOP: New Looks, Same Legendary Performance

One of the standout releases was from Angènieux, with their Preset Optimo Prime series. This series now offers three distinct looks: Glimmer, Uncoated and Vintage, each coming equipped with filters made by Tiffen. These options provide cinematographers with the ability to switch visual styles effortlessly, enhancing the creative freedom on set.

ServiceVision: The Scorpio’s Next Step in Anamorphic

ServiceVision introduced the Scorpiorama 70 Full-Frame 1.65x Squeeze Front Anamorphic lenses. These lenses are not only compact and lightweight but also feature anamorphic elements on the front, providing the sought-after cinematic squeeze while remaining easy to handle. With a diameter of 110mm, they are only slightly larger than their 2x counterparts, offering excellent portability without compromising on quality.

Leitz Expands the HUGO Series

Leitz added three new focal lengths to their renowned HUGO series: 66mm, 75mm and 90mm, known as the HUGO II lenses. These T2.1 lenses complement the existing 10 lenses in the series, creating a total of 13 focal lengths ranging from 18mm to 135mm, perfect for cinematographers looking for a wide range of options. 

Ancient Optics: Vintage Meets Modern

Ancient Optics unveiled their Series 65 Cinema Primes, a set of nine vintage lenses designed to cover larger sensors like the Alexa 65 and Black Magic Ursa 17K. Dulens Triassic: Macro Without Compromise

Dulens showcased their Triassic Full Frame Close Focus Prime Lenses, which offer exceptional image quality with minimal focus breathing and almost no chromatic aberration. With a range of focal lengths from 25mm to 120mm, this lightweight and compact set is perfect for detailed macro shots while maintaining consistency throughout the focus range.

Cooke SP3: A Classic Design Reborn for Digital

Cooke introduced the SP3 18mm T2.4 Full Frame lens, a continuation of their iconic Speed Panchro design, but with modern updates for digital cinematography. This new lens brings the beloved “Cooke Look” to today’s cinematographers, combining sharpness with a gentle, cinematic softness.

Fujinon Duvo 14-100mm: Flexibility Meets Cinematic Beauty

Fujinon presented the Duvo 14-100mm zoom lens, a versatile option perfect for cinematographers working with Super 35 or full-frame cameras. With its compact and lightweight design, it offers an impressive zoom range from 14mm to 100mm, beautiful bokeh, and easy handling, making it ideal for a wide variety of shooting scenarios, from live events to complex cinematic shots.
